Running in Circles
When Addison got up this morning, the first thing she did was to check out what Mommy wrote about her on the blog while she was peacefully sleeping last night. Mostly she approves of the descriptions and writings, but this morning, she was appalled that I would suggest that she could not run in circles like this other girl.
Why of course she could run in circles she told me with emphatic BABAs, head nods and liberal hair pulling....so she set off today to prove me wrong. Her competitive spirit is quite fierce.
One thing Chubbs has taught me more than anything- never stereotype or assume anything about her just because of an extra chromosome...she will set out to prove me wrong...every time.
I stand corrected, yet again....don't think I've ever had a prouder moment. GO CHUBBS! So many things to work on and learn still before she's ready for "real" running in circles, but hey, if you only knew how hard we had to work to get here...you'd be doing a happy dance right alongside me...and Chubbs, of course.
I present to you: Chubbs McPhee
Note: the thing she kept chasing after? A Klondike wrapper...no judgment...it was Crunch.
